MyChart

What is MyChart?

MyChart is a free, secure website and mobile application you can use to access information from your medical records anywhere, at any time.

MyChart is a feature of the Epic brand electronic health record (EHR) system which is used by hospitals and health care organizations to manage patient information and streamline clinical workflows.

The Pembroke Regional Hospital launched Epic and MyChart on October 24, 2026.

Is there an App for that?

MyChart for iOS and MyChart for Android are portable versions of MyChart that you can use to manage your health information on the go. The mobile apps contain many of the same features as the MyChart website. To install the MyChart app, go to the App Store or Google Play Store and search for "MyChart".

A New Look for MyChart

If you are already familiar with MyChart, you will notice that the platform has recently changed its look. You'll notice a new homepage, new web address and new email address when receiving updates from your MyChart account. Why now? More regional health care providers have joined this shared MyChart as Atlas Alliance partners, so it was time for an updated look as we continue to grow.

Safety and Security

Your Privacy:

Your privacy is important. MyChart uses high-level security, similar to online banking, to protect your personal health information. You control access to your account with your own username and password.

MyChart Phishing Attempts:

We are aware of reports of fraudulent emails that use the MyChart name and branding. These messages are phishing attempts designed to appear legitimate.

At this time, there is no indication that these emails are the result of a breach of The Ottawa Hospital's MyChart system, Epic's MyChart platform or any of the systems within the Atlas Alliance group. Epic, the developer of MyChart, has advised that it has received similar reports from other organizations and has found no evidence that these phishing attempts are related to or using actual MyChart systems.

If you receive a suspicious email:

  • Do not click on any links or open attachments.
  • Do not provide personal, financial, or login information.
  • Report the email as phishing or spam using the reporting tools available through your email provider.
  • Delete the message once it has been reported.

For additional information on recognizing and reporting MyChart-related phishing attempts, please visit Epic's MyChart safety page: MyChart Stay Safe

Receiving one of these emails does not mean that your MyChart account, health record, or personal information held by The Ottawa Hospital has been accessed or compromised. Based on the information available, there is no evidence that these phishing attempts are related to a breach of MyChart or that they are using information obtained from your MyChart account.
