To be involved in any of our educational and experiential opportunities, interested individuals may have to complete any of the following items:
- Orientation (half day)
- Health and Safety Awareness Training
- Confidentiality and Privacy Training
- Accessibility Training
- Hand Hygiene and Infection Control Training
- Immunization and Health Review (including two-step TB testing and proof of Varicella immunity)

Pembroke Regional Hospital provides clinical placements for nursing and other health discipline students in a variety of settings across the hospital. We value the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our students by offering excellent clinical placements and the chance to partner with our outstanding staff.

Pembroke Regional Hospital supports the training of nursing and allied health students from across Ontario. A strong academic partnership exists with Algonquin College. Placements may be offered to students from other colleges and universities as well.
Pembroke Regional Hospital offers non-clinical placements to support the efforts of students affiliated with a variety of educational facilities. A non-clinical student placement is one that is defined as having no direct physical contact with patients and includes, but is not limited to opportunities to work alongside exceptional staff in clinical administration, patient records and registration, human resources, and information technology.
