The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce their Week 19 and 20 winners in Catch the Ace - Manny Andre and Dianne Ryan.

 

Manny’s excitement in winning $11,257 was impossible to miss when he stopped by to collect his cheque October 21st, proudly raising it overhead as he celebrated his win.

 

Meanwhile, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation celebrated another exciting week as Dianne Ryan was announced as the Week #20 winner on October 28th, taking home $11,116.

 

While both wins are worth celebrating, the ongoing success of Catch the Ace continues to have a lasting impact on healthcare close to home. Thanks to the incredible support of participants, the current round of Catch the Ace has now raised $445,511 for the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's Together, We Care Campaign, a total that is 2.5 times higher than any previous Catch the Ace campaign at this point in the lottery.

 

"We love celebrating our weekly winners, but what continues to amaze us is the impact this lottery is having on our hospital," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "Every ticket purchased helps us invest in equipment and initiatives that strengthen patient care and staff safety. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support Catch the Ace week after week."

 

Thanks to the incredible support of ticket purchasers, this round of Catch the Ace has already funded:

 

• 11 new stretchers and medical chairs for hospital departments

• A new Lighting System for Labour & Delivery

• Three beds for Acute Mental Health

• A new Staff Duress System to enhance staff safety

 

The Foundation is currently working toward the purchase of an Operating Room Camera System, a $200,000 investment that will enhance surgical care and support healthcare teams in the delivery of high-quality patient care. To date, $53,301 has been raised toward that goal through Catch The Ace.

 

With the Ace of Spades still waiting to be found and excitement continuing to build, the Foundation encourages supporters to purchase their tickets and be part of the next draw.
