The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is pleased to announce a generous donation of $10,000 from the Ottawa Valley Community Foundation (OVCF) in support of the Foundation's Together We Care Campaign and the purchase of a new CT scanner for Pembroke Regional Hospital. The OVCF Board of Directors made the contribution outside of its annual granting process, recognizing the significant impact the project will have on healthcare throughout the region.

 

The donation reflects OVCF's commitment to strengthening communities across the Ottawa Valley and supporting initiatives that improve quality of life for local residents. In selecting the CT scanner project, the Board recognized the importance of ensuring patients have access to modern diagnostic equipment close to home.

"Their support brings us one step closer to completing the fundraising for our new CT scanner, which is now operational at Pembroke Regional Hospital.

CT imaging plays a critical role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, helping healthcare teams make timely and informed decisions about patient care. The new CT scanner will enhance diagnostic imaging services at Pembroke Regional Hospital and support better outcomes for patients across the region.
