PRH Foundation Announces 21st Annual Black & White Gala
1/9/2026
The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is excited to announce the return of its signature fundraising event, the 21st Annual Black & White Gala, taking place on Saturday, October 17th, at the Normandy Officers' Mess in Garrison Petawawa.
For 21 years, the Black & White Gala has brought together community leaders, health care supporters, local businesses, and generous donors for an unforgettable evening in support of local health care. This year's event will continue to support the Foundation's Together, We Care Campaign and help drive the final fundraising push toward the purchase of a new CT Scanner for Pembroke Regional Hospital.
"The arrival of the new CT Scanner this fall will be a significant milestone for local health care," said Event Chair Dr. Christy Natsis. "Our community has already shown incredible support through the Together, We Care Campaign, and this year's Gala gives us an opportunity to come together once again and help bring this important project across the finish line."
The new CT Scanner will provide faster, more advanced diagnostic imaging for thousands of patients each year and help ensure families throughout Renfrew County can continue to access high-quality care close to home.
Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring exceptional dining, live entertainment, exciting auction opportunities, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on health care in our region.
"The Black & White Gala has become one of our community's most anticipated events because people understand the difference they can make when they come together," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "This year's event is especially meaningful as we celebrate the progress of the Together, We Care Campaign and focus on completing the fundraising needed for the new CT Scanner."
The Foundation is proud to recognize returning Gift of Legacy Sponsors Frank Carroll Financial and Dr. Christy Natsis & Associates Family Dentistry, including Dr. Bruce Harle, Dr. Raymond Lam, and Dr. Jeremiah Suralvo. Through their ongoing generosity and leadership, these community partners have helped make the Black & White Gala one of the Foundation's most successful fundraising events. Their continued support reflects a shared commitment to strengthening local health care and ensuring patients and families have access to exceptional care close to home.
Funds raised through the evening will support the Together, We Care Campaign and help ensure the Foundation can fulfill its commitment to funding the hospital's highest-priority equipment needs, including the new CT Scanner scheduled to operational this October.
"Every sponsorship, auction bid, ticket purchased, and donation helps strengthen health care close to home," said Lisa Edmonds, Chair of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "The Gala is a wonderful reminder of what our community can accomplish when we come together in support of our hospital."
Thanks to the incredible support of our sponsors and community partners, tickets for the 21st Annual Black & White Gala are nearly sold out. A wait list is being maintained in the event of cancellations. To be added to the wait list, please email stacy.taylor@prh.ca.
While ticket availability is limited, sponsorship opportunities remain available and offer a meaningful way to support the Together We Care Campaign and local health care. For more information, please contact stacy.taylor@prh.ca.
