Karen Renaud & Bev Clouthier Win $10,045 In Catch the Ace Week 11 Draw

31/8/2026

Long-time Catch the Ace players Karen Renaud and Bev Clouthier are celebrating a big win after being selected as the Week #11 winners in the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation's Catch the Ace lottery. The pair will share $10,485, representing 20 per cent of weekly ticket sales.

Renaud and Clouthier have been purchasing Catch the Ace tickets together for years, making this week's win especially exciting.

While the Ace of Spades was not revealed, the excitement surrounding this round of Catch the Ace continues to grow. Heading into Week #12, the estimated jackpot is expected to exceed $160,000 if the Ace of Spades is caught.

"The enthusiasm surrounding Catch the Ace continues to amaze us," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "Week after week, our community continues to show up in a big way. Not only are players helping create record-setting jackpots, they're helping fund important equipment and technology needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital. The impact is real, and we're incredibly grateful for that support."

This round of Catch the Ace has already raised $223,734 in support of local health care. Funds generated through the lottery have helped purchase two new beds for the Acute Mental Health Unit and a new lighting system for our Obstetrics program. Proceeds are now being directed toward the Foundation's next priority: raising funds for 11 new stretchers for departments throughout the hospital. The stretcher project carries a price tag of approximately $170,000 and Catch the Ace has already contributed significantly toward that goal.

Catch the Ace also plays an important role in the Foundation's Together We Care Campaign, which is raising funds for priority equipment and technology needs at Pembroke Regional Hospital. The campaign has now reached approximately 75% of its goal, with every ticket purchased helping move the campaign closer to the finish line.

The PRH Foundation extends its congratulations to Karen Renaud and Bev Clouthier and thanks all players, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who continue to make Catch the Ace such a remarkable success. Every ticket purchased helps support better patient care close to home while giving players the chance to win life-changing prizes.
