Community Support Continues To Move Together, We Care Campaign Forward

3/7/2026

As the Together, We Care Campaign continues to build momentum toward its $10 million goal, the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation is recognizing the generosity of supporters like Barbara and Bob Kramer, whose commitment to local healthcare is helping advance priority equipment purchases at Pembroke Regional Hospital.

Longtime community builders and former owners of Kramer Construction, the Kramers have helped shape the Upper Ottawa Valley for decades. Their support of the Together, We Care Campaign reflects a shared commitment to ensuring exceptional healthcare remains available close to home for local patients and families.

"Every gift to the Together, We Care Campaign helps strengthen healthcare in our region," said Roger Martin, Executive Director of the Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation. "Support from community-minded donors like Barbara and Bob Kramer helps ensure our hospital has access to the equipment and technology needed to provide exceptional care, today and into the future."

The Kramers chose to support the campaign through a donation of mutual funds, demonstrating one of the many ways individuals can make a meaningful impact on local healthcare.

"Many people are surprised to learn that donating securities or stocks can be one of the most tax-effective ways to support a charitable cause," said Martin. "It's a simple option that can maximize the impact of a gift while helping advance important community priorities like the Together, We Care Campaign."

Their generosity is part of a growing community effort that is helping bring vital medical equipment and technology to Pembroke Regional Hospital through the Together, We Care Campaign.
